CSP Account
CSP account allows you to connect to other SMS Studio applications through CSP protocol.
This type of account is specifically designed for connecting CodeSegment applications.
CSP Connection Dialog
See Connection Dialog for description of the Connection, Account and Statistics tabs.
Settings tab
- CSP Server Address lets you specify the network name or the IP address of the CSP server computer.
- Port lets you specify the port number used for accepting CSP connections on the server computer.
- Connect timeout lets you specify the timeout value in seconds. If the server computer does not respond to the connection request in the specified time interval, the connection will be considered unavailable.
- Local IP address lets you specify the local IP address SMS
Studio will use when creating the connection. This setting is useful if you
need to select the network adapter to be used by this connection, or if your
network adapter is using several IP addresses. In most cases, there is no need
to change this setting (i.e. it should be set to 0.0.0.0).
- Port lets you specify the local port SMS
Studio will use when creating the connection. This setting is useful if your CSP server requires that you use specific port for making the connection. In most cases, there is no need
to change this setting (i.e. it should be set to 0).
- User name lets you enter the user name used to access CSP server.
- Password lets you enter the password used to access CSP server.
- Remember password allows you to specify if the application should remember your user name and password. If this option is not checked, the application will ask you for the user name and password each time you initiate the
connection.
- Encrypt communication to secure data specifies whether the communication with CSP server should be encrypted.
