Connections Window

The Connections window displays available connections.

To activate the Connections window, select Connections from Window menu of the menu bar, or use the shortcut Alt+W C.

The columns displayed in the connections table are as follows:

• Name - The name of the connection.
• Status - The information about the current status of the connection.
• Note - Additional information about the last connection operation.
• Account - The name of the connected account.
• Account Info - Additional information about the connected account.

The Tools menu of the Connections window contains the following options:

• Collect Messages - Use to collect SMS messages pending on the SME.
• Check Connection - Use to test the status of the connection.
• Show Accounts - Use to display the Accounts dialog.
• Show Account Log - Use to display the log of the account associated with the selected connection.
• Protect - Use to protect or unprotect existing connections and accounts. While in protected mode, the user can still use existing connections and accounts, but cannot create new, nor view, modify or delete existing ones. Note that, in protected mode, serial connection will be able to connect to any of the existing SIM card accounts.
