About Services

The purpose of services in SMS Studio is to process messages.

SMS Studio includes the following services:

Voting Service enables you to make various types of interactive SMS voting events - surveys, opinion polls, quizzes, etc.
TV Chat Service enables you to create interactive events by displaying SMS messages on a screen device.
Routing Service enables you to use SMS Studio as an SMS gateway, SMS router or SMS server by allowing you to route messages between your clients.
Info Service enables you to make custom SMS services in order to provide users with desired information such as news, weather reports, sport events, banking information, etc. It can also be used to create advanced services like SMS games, lottery, quizzes, parking, etc.
Content Service enables you to deliver predefined SMS messages (ring tones, logos, WAP Push links, etc.) on users requests.
Mailbox Service enables you to make a multipurpose mailbox for receiving and quick manual processing of SMS messages.

SMS Studio can open and run multiple services simultaneously. However, only one service can be visible at any time.

After placing an incoming message in the Inbox, SMS Studio notifies all currently running services of the new message arrival.

Services use filters to decide if they will accept the new message. Each service may have a set of filters assigned. A filter may accept or reject the message, depending on the message properties. Note that a message may be accepted by more than one service.

Services have the ability to send automatic replies, depending on the result of processing the message.

Some services support the full screen mode. In this mode the displayed picture can occupy any specified part of the Windows desktop. Note that the Windows desktop may be extended onto multiple monitors.
