Info Inbox Window
The Info Inbox collects the messages received by the info service.
To activate the Info Inbox window, select Info Inbox from Window menu of the menu bar, or use the shortcut Alt+W, F.
The columns displayed in the Info Inbox table are as follows:
- Status - The status of the received message. See below for possible values.
- Rule - The name of the rule if the message has been
recognized.
- From - The information about the sender of the message.
- To - The information about the recipient of the message.
- Text - The text of the received message.
- Time - The date and the time when the message is received.
- Account - The name of the account from which the message is received.
Status of the received message may be one of the following:
- Not processed - The processing of the message has not been initiated.
- Processing - The message is being processed.
- Processed - The message has been successfully processed.
- Failed - The processing of the message failed (e.g. database
could not be accessed, external application error, etc.).
- Not recognized - The message has not been recognized as any
of the rules.
- Disabled - The rule is disabled.
- Ignored - The message is ignored.
The Action menu of the Info Inbox window contains the following options:
- Process - Use to initiate processing of the selected messages.
Note that a descriptive failure reason will be displayed only if a single
message has been selected for processing.
- Abort - Use to abort processing of the selected messages. This option may only be performed on messages with
Processing status.
The Tools menu of the Info Inbox window contains the following options:
- Reset Status - Use to set the status of the selected messages to
Not processed, thus allowing the messages to be processed again.
- Send Message - Use to send messages to the senders of the selected messages using the Send Message dialog.
- Forward Message - Use to forward the selected message using the Send Message dialog.
- Add/Edit Sender - Use to add or edit the sender of the selected message in the Address Book.
- Select in Contacts - Use to display the Contacts window and select contacts that have sent the selected messages. In case that some contacts do not exist, a question box will be displayed, allowing you to
choose whether you wish to create them.
In the Reply Bar of the Info Inbox window you may use
Info Text Parameters,
Message Text Parameters, and Global Text Parameters.
