Info Setup Dialog
The Info Setup dialog allows you to set the info service options.
To display the Info Setup dialog, select Setup from Service menu of the menu bar.

Filters
- Displays the list of the filters used by the service. See Filters for more details.
Advanced tab
ODBC Data Source
- Data Source lets you specify the name of the Data Source to
be used for Run SQL query action.
- User name specifies the user name for connecting to the Data Source.
- Password specifies the password for connection to the Data Source.
Named Pipe
- Pipe name specifies the name of the pipe used by external
applications to communicate with SMS Studio. See
Named Pipe for more details.
- Remote user lets you specify the name of a user or a group of users that should be granted access to the named pipe. This may be necessary if you need to access the pipe through a web server or from another computer.
- Default reply account specifies the account to be used for
sending the reply when the message sent through the pipe does not contain
account ID.
- Default reply address specifies the sender address to be
used for sending the reply when the message sent through the pipe does not
contain sender address.
External tab
External Applications
- Concurrency specifies the maximum number of external
applications info service may execute concurrently.
- Remove invalid characters from parameters lets you specify
invalid characters to be removed from the text parameters before composing the
application command line parameters.
- Periodically execute external application specifies that an
external application should be executed in regular time intervals.
- Every lets you specify the time period at which the external
application should be executed.
- Application specifies the application to execute.
- Parameters lets you specify parameters the
application will receive.
- Timeout lets you specify the period of time in seconds after
which the execution of the application will be considered as failed.

- Delete accepted messages from Inbox specifies whether the messages
accepted by the service should be deleted from the Inbox.
- Apply maintenance lets you specify whether you wish to apply the global maintenance options to this service.
- Apply Ignored property from Contacts specifies whether the message received by ignored contact should also be ignored.
- Add sender to group specifies whether to add the sender of the incoming message to the Address Book. If a group name is supplied, then the contact will be added to the specified group.
- Delete processed messages specifies whether the messages that have been successfully
processed should be deleted from the Info Inbox.
- Delete failed messages specifies whether the messages whose
processing failed should be deleted from the Info Inbox.
- Delete not processed messages specifies whether the messages that could not be
processed should be deleted from the Info Inbox.

- Displays the list of the replies used by the service. See Replies for more details.
