Voting service enables you to make various types of interactive SMS voting events - surveys, opinion polls, quizzes, etc.
By using the list of predefined voting answers, voting service classifies received messages. When the message is received, SMS Studio searches through the voting answers to find a match. If the received message matches one of the voting answers, that answer scores a vote. Note that voting answers may be defined before the service is started, or created later. Depending on the result of processing the message, voting service may send appropriate reply.
Voting service displays the chart with voting results. The voting results chart is displayed as a part of the Voting Results window.
The setup of voting service is composed of voting answers, filters, options, limits, replies and visual settings. The visual settings part of the setup is called profile. The profile of the voting service may be saved to a separate file. The saved profile may be later loaded into another voting service.
The full screen mode in voting service can be used for displaying the chart with voting results and up to three bitmaps selected by the user. The bitmaps may be useful for displaying additional information about the voting event. For switching between full screen views, the following shortcuts are available: F6, F7 and F8 for displaying bitmaps, and F9 for displaying voting results.
Voting service can automatically export voting results to a database or a file at regular time intervals. If the automatic feature of the export is not used, voting results may also be exported manually on the user's request.
