How to Setup the Full Screen View on the Secondary Monitor
Follow these steps to setup the full screen view of the TV Chat or Voting Results Chart on the secondary monitor.
Enabling the secondary monitor
- Select Start / Settings / Control Panel / Display to open the Display Properties dialog.
- Switch to the Settings tab.

- Click the Secondary Display frame.
- Turn on the Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor option.
- Click the Apply button to apply the changes.
- Click the Identify button to check that your monitors are properly configured. Additionally, you may need to use the Advanced button to setup some graphics card
specific options (e.g. to set the display mode, resolution, refresh rate, etc.).
- Click the OK button to close the dialog.
SMS Studio Full Screen Settings
- In the TV Chat (or Voting Results) window, select the Tools - Edit Profile option to open the Profile dialog.
- Switch to the Full Screen tab.

- Use the Monitors button to select the monitor where you wish to display the TV Chat (or Voting Chart) in the full screen mode. Additionally, you can manually set the full screen
placement settings if you wish that the full screen view occupy only a portion of the screen.
- Switch to the Display tab.

- Use the Text placement (Chart placement) options to setup the portion of the full screen view which the TV Chat scrolling text (or Voting chart) should occupy.
- Use the Background options to setup the background color or the background bitmap image.
- Click the OK button to close this dialog.
- Use the F9 key to switch the TV Chat (Voting Chart) display to and from the full screen mode.
Displaying TV Chat (or Voting Chart) over the live TV signal
For displaying the TV Chat (or Voting Chart) output over the live TV signal, you can use the chroma key technique (also known as color key). This technique treats a specified
color from the upper layer as a transparent during the signal composition.
In the following example, the green color is used as a transparent, so the TV Chat output is displayed over the live signal in the desired area.
