TV Chat

In this topic we will create a TV Chat service which displays all received messages.

Make sure that there are no active connections in the Connections window.
Click the New button on the main toolbar.
Choose TV Chat service from the list of available services and click the OK button.
Click the Setup button on the main toolbar to display the TV Chat Setup dialog.
Make sure that the Automatically display incoming messages option in the General tab of the TV Chat Setup dialog is set to All and click the OK button to close the dialog.
Create and connect a new Emulator connection of the type TV Chat, with cleared Include prefix option and Speed set to Slow.
Use the Start and Stop buttons on the main toolbar to start and stop the service. While the service is stopped it does not receive any new messages.
Activate the TV Chat window to see the messages arriving and being displayed in the chat preview.
Press the F9 key to display the chat in the full screen mode. Press the F9 key again to return back to the chat preview.
In the TV Chat window click the Edit Profile option from the Tools menu to display the TV Chat Profile dialog. In this dialog you can configure the visual appearance of the chat. Note that you can open TV Chat Profile dialog while the chat is in the full screen mode by right clicking on the chat and selecting the Edit Profile option.
Click the Close button on the main toolbar to close the service.
